Flight number 501 was one flight too much

The 2006 Buck RC Club Freeze Fly was a lot of fun with good food and fellowship. Jim managed to be the only guy to crack up his airplane, one that he has been flying for four years with LOTS of flights on it. Dead battery will do it every time!  Welcome to Eric who started his journey in learning how to fly today.  With the airplane auction, Bruce scored the Avistar, and Ron got the SkyStar.

When Jim's battery went on him, it left his airplane with only rudder and elevator, then eventually just elevator.  The wind carried the airplane into the power lines where it's wing was decapitated.
